Oh yeah. I have a blog.

There’s nothing quite like getting the reminder email about upcoming annual charges for a domain and account that you’ve all but forgotten. I keep it, in part, because I don’t know how to delete it in its entirety (can you even do that?), and because I don’t want to lose some of the memories. The WordPress app was challenging to navigate 6 years ago and made posting frustrating. But it’s been a while since I checked in, and it feels like time to try again. There’s a new app, so I’ll give it a go.

I lost my soul dog in December 2024. Six years was not nearly enough time with her and my heart aches every day. I loved and lost several dogs throughout my life, but she was that extra bit special.

Of course, life goes on whether you want it to or not, and goodbyes make space for hellos. January 2025 said hello to this lunatic.

Natasha is an American Pit bull Terrier-Labrador Retriever-American Staffordshire Terrier mix and a teeny tiny terror. She’s a super sweet, high energy nutball. I love her to pieces, but she’s a terrible reading buddy.

I think that’s all for now. I’ll see if this posts and how it looks. If all goes well, I will try to return to regular bookish programming with the occasional pup-date.
